Dr. Gorr chose PM&R for the diversity of the specialty and its emphasis on the "holistic approach" to patient care. As an Osteopath, she feels the best approach to health and well-being should be comprehensive and encompass life-style changes and mind-body connection. Dr. Gorr graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Biology, received her Master of Science and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Residency in PM&R at Temple University Hospital, like Dr. Hines. Dr. Gorr is Board Certified in PM&R and specializes in spine diseases, sports medicine and electrodiagnostic studies. Dr. Gorr lives in the Outer Banks and practices in both the Elizabeth City and Outer Banks offices. She looks forward to helping her patients achieve their functional goals and manage their disability as best they can.
